Privacy
This page says what brokerintel.io keeps about you, and what BrokerIntel keeps about the firms and people in its directory.
When you visit this website
The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts are served from its own address, so nothing is loaded from other companies. Like every website, its hosting provider, Cloudflare, sees the usual request details such as your IP address to deliver the page and keep it safe.
When you request access
The form sends your name, company, work email and, if you give them, your role and a note. They are kept only to answer your request and to set up your sign-in, and are deleted after a year, or sooner if you ask. Weekly backups keep a copy for up to three more months. They are never sold, shared or used for marketing. A one-way fingerprint of your IP address, never the address itself, is kept for about an hour to stop the form being flooded.
When you sign in
A sign-in uses one cookie that keeps you signed in, and the app remembers a few display choices in your browser. The sign-ins, pages opened and searches of a guest sign-in are logged so the owner can see what was useful, and the log is kept for a year.
The directory itself
BrokerIntel is built mainly from public sources: official registers, regulators' own lists, the brokers' own websites and industry news, plus web services such as the Internet Archive and domain registries. The directory keeps no email addresses, phone numbers or street addresses of any firm or person in it. People appear only as they are named in public, in their work roles, with the source. Where a source's terms forbid reuse, its data is left out.
Questions or corrections
To ask what is kept about you, or to have something corrected or removed (a person's name and role, or a broker's logo), use the request form on the home page and say so in the note.
